Barn Find!

One of our best garage sale finds lately was MOST of a horse stable set.  Originally full of details, our Riding Stable (set 6379) has been largely completed using our own extra pieces.  We were able to get a very nice setup despite missing some pieces.

Set out in the countryside near Brickburgh, the stable commands a large field nearby with pastures and room for the horses to run.  It is similar to the Paradisa set that Mia did a tour of recently, but without the pink pieces.  This set is 6 years older (from 1986) and has a traditional European style barn on it, compared to the island look of the Paradisa version-- though both share similar construction techniques.
