The Mail Must Go Through

Neither snow, nor rain, nor heat, nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds....  and neither do street lights, nor bus stops, nor fences, nor dead end streets...

The post office in town is a big busy place.  We've changed the shape of its property a lot over the years. When these pictures were taken it had a drive-thru type lot with gates on both sides (alas, as the town became more densely built we couldn't dedicate that much space to it anymore).
Here's our local folks getting ready to make deliveries.  They have a lot of local mail in the bin!  There's also a separate package delivery service and an air freight company.
Another view of our postal mishap.  I was particularly proud of how realistic this turned out.  The busted fence, the tire hanging off the hub, and the back door swung open.

    1. I don't think we'll ever branch out into trains. The multi-level layout of the town doesn't really lend itself to the train tracks.

  2. Nice! I really admire your lego town. I also agree that the crash does look real.
